Hi! I’m Lewis. Retired Navy Officer, Retired Boeing Engineer, Aspiring Software Developer.

I spent almost 22 years in the USN, retired and went to work in aerospace with Boeing – designing airplanes.

I'm taking the time to reinvest in myself by going to school full time.

My plan is to get my degree in software development, take on a leadership role in the technical industries or maybe do some part time teaching, consulting and enjoying my retirement.

Web Frameworks

This is a portfolio of some of my class work in Web Frameworks. Using html, css, javascript, jquery, bootstrap and php to design responsive websites.

My latest site was developed for Business coaching clients using Agile methods.

Developed site for a consultant using Agile methods.

Layouts using grids and positioning.

Created a basic web page with applied styling.

Created a web page with multiple pages.

Developed a web page with tables.

Applied styling using multiple fonts.

Developed a web page with forms and multiple kinds of input.

Developed a web page with an interactive cartoon with user input.

Developed a web page with a game to display random images and select the correct image based on user input.

Developed a web page to select a movie from user input.

Java Data Structures and Algorithms

This is a portfolio of some of my class work in Algorithms. Using IntelliJ, implemented several abstract data types using different data structures. A partial list of data types include:

  • Stacks using resizing array and singly linked list
  • Queues using array and single linked list
  • Deque using doubly linked list
  • Priority Queue using an array
  • Ordered Sequential Search Symbol Table using linked list
  • Trie Symbol Table using an array of nodes
Networking Fundamentals

This is some of my class work in networking. Programmed Cisco Routers and Switches to implement small networks. One such network shown included:
